July 18, 2022 This week started and ended on Hell’s Backbone road. Luke and I drove the whole road this time and got to the part where there is a one lane bridge traversing the top of a cliff ridge and overlooking Box Death Hollow on both sides. July 11, 2022 The day has finally come that I have planned my first trip back to New England to visit family and friends. It will have been almost a year since I have seen most of them by the time I go there in late September. July 4, 2022 What a great week it was with lots of adventure! I’m still set on the idea of building a community here with my fellow work campers and have been talking to everyone about it. June 27, 2022 I took the plunge this week and went to a new unknown hairdresser and it really didn’t turn out bad. June 20, 2022 Mom finished her trip to Southern Utah this past week and I went back to my routine of working. We had a really nice time despite the heat wave and were able to do so many things. June 13, 2022 We had several visitors this week. First, a friend named Judy and her husband Ernie came to see us. We know Judy from the art association we belonged to when we lived in Massachusetts. June 6, 2022 We started out this week going to Devil’s Garden which is a BLM day use area just outside of Escalante, Utah down Hole in the Rock road. The road was fairly easy to travel and there is no hiking required to see the rock formations there so it was an easy activity while I was still recovering. May 30, 2022 I've made it through my quarantine period though I’m still testing positive for COVID so I cannot go back to work yet. I’m also still avoiding indoor public places out of courtesy and an abundance of caution though according to CDC guidelines, I should be able to enter public places with a mask and not get anyone sick. May 23, 2022 After working for much of the past week I was looking forward to getting out to do some adventure/exploration and take photos. I had fun plans for this week.
